LMAO...still LMAO...okay. To put the record straight, I jammed with these guys for a few months before it became painfully obvious that not only were they all far superiour muscians than I, but also that our musical tastes differed greatly. I'm not embarassed at all about being shown the door, in fact my only regret is that I didn't walk sooner, to let those guy get going, as they were(are) far more serious than I was. Scott Hazelton answered an ad I placed on kickedinthehead.com saying something like "un-trained garage band guitar player looking to experiment ala radiohead, sonic stuff", I forget what I said, but I had nothing in mind even close to what Hypercricket is. Those guys are pretty far from "un-trained". So whatever, we jammed, I tried to keep up and learn as much as I could despite not really playing my fav style of music and my own lack of skill. We also drank beer, laughed, and talked shit. My greatest accomplishment was pissing off another band that was sharing our rehersal space, and coining the phrase "sex bell" "...more people would play the cowbell if it had a cool name..." Scott H shot beer through his nose on that one. No lie. Ask him. Put it on my tombstone. Rock on Hypercricket! http://www.myspace.com/hypercricket
