Bad Geox/Browns shoes/service

UPDATE OCT 3: after 5 weeks, two pairs of shoes, 6 visits to the store (Browns/Bay), 2 phone calls to Browns head office, 1 call back from head office, 1 email (read below), and 1 phone call from the store manager asking me to come in for a REFUND! (I really have to get better at this...)

Hi,

I have been frustrated for over a month now with the poor quality of the
shoes you have sold me:

Aug 29th: I purchased a pair of Geox shoes from the Bay/Browns store.

Within one week and elastic had snapped over the tongue (no lace model). I
noticed other stitching also giving out...

Shades of White

I have some work in the "shades of white" art show in support of the Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation, http://mindfulmovementcentre.com/opening.php (great turn out, great space!), despite not being mentioned on the shows web page, how embarassing for me ;)

Please check out some samples of my artwork here, www.scottpolley.com/oldsite/index.htm
I'll try to have more recent work up soon.

"On September 16th, 2008, the team from Vervegirl, Fuel and B-Zone will be upping the ante for a Habitat for Humanity Toronto Build. Donning our safety boots, toolbelts and hardhats, and oozing a combination of brains and brawn, we will spend the day contributing to a Habitat for Humanity construction project by helping to build a home for a much-needed family. So help us reach our goal of $2000 by the ground breaking date in September and help us change the life of a family forever."

Now available on Facebook

Yep, you may be reading this now at http://apps.facebook.com/scottpolley/
You can also add the application "scottpolley.com", although, I'm not sure why you'd do that at the moment, as this update/blog is all that is currently here. But it's possible to do so.

Unfortunatly, this functionality comes at the cost of the "Facebook Login" button, however, this new ability will circumvent that. And if not, maybe I'll try making it work agian down the road :)

Status and Logn via Facebook turned off... for now

Turning off working Facebook integration modules in order to get a bigger one working. Stay tuned.

LMAO

...still LMAO...okay.
I just found this link while vanity searching myself on google (you know you do it) http://www.torontomusicscene.ca/rock/hypercricket.html

To put the record straight, I jammed with these guys for a few months before it became painfully obvious that not only were they all far superiour muscians than I, but also that our musical tastes differed greatly. I'm not embarassed at all about being shown the door, in fact my only regret is that I didn't walk sooner, to let those guy get going, as they were(are) far more serious than I was.

yep, that's my facebook status up at the top there,

Looks like I'm all facebook happy, but I'm coming for you myspace, twitter, flicker, etc...
